Helpful hint...

Ideally, before we meet, try to bring 3 websites that you like the look of. It doesn't have to be a business that is in your field. You can choose it for any reason: you like the colors, you like what they have to say, you like the way the site is presented...this will start to give me an idea of what you are looking for.

How do we get started...?

Let's talk about what sort of business you have and what you would like to accomplish with your website.

A small site will require about 10 hours of planning on your part, although this absolutely depends on how large your site is, and whether or not you have digital files ready.

Additional fees apply if you require original copy to be written, logos to be created, or photography services.

Good planning is the key to a good website.

Here are the steps:

  1. Initial Planning Meeting(s).
  2. Gathering of information. Discussion of Terms and Estimate.
  3. Mockup site created.
  4. Design and Layout established. User testing.
  5. Final approval.
  6. Site online!
  7. Search Engine Submission. I'll either teach you how, or I'll do it for you.
  8. Maintenance. Websites are like houseplants: they need to be fed and watered in order to stay 'healthy'.
